Our church - St Hugh's of Cockernhoe

The school was founded in 1881 to provide education "according to the principles and practices of the Church of England", and is a Voluntary Aided school
operating in partnership with the Local Education Authority.

As Cockernhoe is a village school, it caters for the children of all denominations from the age of
4 to 11. Although primarily for children of the village and surrounding hamlets, children from other areas are most welcome, providing there are places.
