Golden Mile at Home

Whilst the children are at home, it is very important that they stay fit. We have set up this page to share the many ways that the children have been staying fit at home.

Thursday 7th May 2020

WELL DONE.....

Quinn and Parker, who have been following Joe Wicks' P.E. Lesson every morning. They have both been riding their bikes and taking short walks to keep active. Quinn has been continuing her dance, attending online Dance Classes via Zoom! 

It's the VE Day bank holiday this weekend. Hope you are all able to get outside and get active and also enjoy the warm sunshine and blue skies that have been promised. We hope you all get a chance to remember and celebrate Victory in Europe Day too.

It's the last day of April! Where has this month gone. We do hope you are all getting some exercise, even though it's been raining quite a bit this week. It's really important for our health and well-being that we do exercise when we can.

Welcome to a new week of the Golden Mile at Home. Hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

Day 2 / Day 3 On your marks, get set, GO!

WELL DONE.....

James Butler, who has been practicing yoga at home.

Lauren and Emily Calvert, who have been running on their treadmill and taking part in bike trainer sessions. They have also been hula-hooping and playing football in their garden.

Nimrod, who has been out cycling with his dad and sister and playing games of 'Tag' in his garden.

Oliver and George, who have also been joining in with Joe Wicks' P.E. Lessons.

Monday 23rd March 2020 - Day 1 - Off to a flying start

WELL DONE..... 

Hope, Emerald Class, who started off her day with a virtual P.E. Lesson run by Joe Wicks online.

Addisen, Sapphire Class, who has been sent an exercise timetable from her Gymnastics Club. The timetable includes exercises and live stream workouts for her to take part in.

Lauren, Sapphire Class and Emily, Emerald Class, for joining Joe Wicks' P.E. lesson this morning and tonight they did their stair workout provided by their swimming club.

Mr Philby who completed a 3.16 mile run and Mrs Cheetham who walked for 48 minutes today!

Please keep those photos coming! Remember, it's really important to stay fit while we are at home.
